What does the girl that already has everything, ask for Christmas? Once you hit full time employment and you start to earn your own money you are able to buy yourself what you like when you like.

So, what does one ask for? Personally as I've gotten older there really isn't anything I want for Christmas (Well, unless anyone has a budget for a pair of pointed Celine python flats, or a Canon 1.2 lens? Yeah, me neither!) TWO PIECE SUIT

Oh the two piece suit. For a start, who doesn't have one in their over following wardrobes? A suit is probably the most versatile item you can own; together or separate this suit already allows 3 looks in one. Sold? Of course you are.

I've put a spin on this traditional black suit from Hush, rather than popping a crisp white shirt or typical jersey tee I've belted the tuxedo jacket to draw the attention to my waist. (Very Olivia Palermo!) I teamed the cigarette trousers with a pair of black strappy sandals to complete the look. 

What do you think? This look is definitely something I would wear to an evening event or sophisticated do.

ANOTHER TOPSHOP CAPE

I'm sorry if you've seen this outfit all over my Instagram, can you tell its a favourite of mine? I wore this outfit last week to a crazy amount of press days followed up by an evening with Molton Brown x Reward Style (who treated us to a lovely gift voucher, just in time for Christmas!) finishing off with an Agent Provocateur Christmas party.

I like to keep things simple when it comes to wearing a blanket cape. As they are very much the talking point of any outfit is it important to keep your lower silhouette fairly basic with a pair of staple black jeans and asymmetric heels which won't distract the eye from the cape and more importantly won't swamp the body. I like to compliment the colours in my ensembles so I popped a cream roll neck underneath, equally if I had owned an orange roll neck that would of looked just as amazing!

COLOURED FAUX FUR, TAKE 2

Accessories are a big thing for me this season; fringed blanket capes, oversized scarves and multi coloured faux fur stoles. You name it, I'll be accessorising with it!

I've got an obsession with the colour burgundy at the moment, can you tell? (I recently styled camel and burgundy here!) I was invited down to the new Superga UK Spitalfields store last week for a breakfast event with Surgery PR to take a look around the store and stop the new collection. Obviously I had to leave with these classic 2750 fur lined trainers!

THE PINSTRIPE COAT

Oh pinstripe coat, how I've waited four whole seasons to bring you out from inside my wardrobe! I love Winter, not exactly for the cold weather but for the amount of layering opportunities!

This ensemble is something I threw together for a day off press days followed up by an exciting event with ASOS and NIKEiD in which I got to design my own NIKE trainers and chose an entire outfit from ASOS to compliment the trainers, amazing huh? I actually belted this pinstripe coat to and from press days to keep the chill out which is the perfect solution for any coat without fastenings.
