WEARING THE FRINGE TREND DAY TO DAY

Festival season is well and truly here, and any kind of fringe attire becomes an acceptable daily occurrence. (Lets face it we are so over the high waisted Levi 501 denim and Topshop crop top combo, aren't we?) I love putting a different spin on a conventional outfit, so I've taken the fringe necessities and put my own take on the festival trend, only this way you'll be able to wear it day to day.

What I'm Wearing: Asos Jacket*, Primark Poloneck, Lavish Alice Culottes*, Mango Shoes, Asos Bag* and Asos Sunglasses*

I've been on the search for a light weight camel jacket for a while now and as we're approaching Summer we all need a happy medium between leather jacket and winter coat. (If fringe isn't your thing and you'd rather something more staple than on trend, this camel jacket with a waterfall front will be right up your street!

As always I've put together a couple of alternative products with smaller price points to the ones I'm wearing below.

LOVE MY WEDDING LYST-GIVEAWAY

http://www.lyst.com/user/hannahcrosskey/lovemyweddinglyst/

Wedding season is officially upon us! (I should know, it's my turn in under three weeks, eep!)

There is nothing I love more than gathering a ton of inspiration for the big day, whether it be colour schemes for the bouquets, ideas for the centre pieces, layouts for the table plans or simply just popping together outfit inspiration for my wedding guests.
My first point of call when putting together a list of pure inspiration is to head to Lyst.co.uk. Lyst is the ideal place to follow your favourite users, create "Lyst" boards for each and every occasion in a wish-list style layout and browse through thousands of products using clever technology to create a personal shopping experience for every Lyst user. (Think of it as a combination of Pinterest and Polyvore!) Take a look at my Wedding Guest board here.

Now, here's the best part. By giving my board a "heart" here and creating your very own #LoveMyWeddingLyst packed with wedding guest attire, you can bag yourself your very own pair of Sophia Webster heels up to a value of 400!

Simple right? To give yourself the best chance of winning, remember to give my #LoveMyWeddingLyst a heart here, get creative with your very own Lyst to obtain the most loves, and don't forget to use the hash tags "#LoveMyWeddingLyst" and "#Wedding" in your descrption as I've done and you'll be taking a pair of Sophia Webster's for a spin in no time. http://www.lyst.com/user/hannahcrosskey/lovemyweddinglyst/

LACE UP HIGH STREET PUMPS

So I finally got my hands on this pair of snake effect lace up flats from Topshop, with special thanks to Shopcade.com for hooking me up with the outfit. (I also posted a wish-list of lace up variations here if you haven't already got your hands on a pair!) You know the love I have for a pair of snakeskin shoes so It wasn't long until I called this pair my own..

I'm all for wearing all black-It's my go-to on a day to day basis. If a colour could sum my style up, it would definitely be black. This Topshop Takashi top is the ideal pairing with the black cross over culottes, broken up with a pop of print in the lace up flats and a delicate gold double coin necklace is the perfect way to wear one solid colour.

FINERY LONDON

Finery, the exciting new kid on the block looking to put the excitement back into shopping. Born in 2014, they're a group of like-minded individuals who share the same goal: to put the excitement back into shopping. With in house buyers and designers from the likes of ASOS and Topshop, you know Finery are on to a winner! The coats and jackets are my weakness, especially the boxy silhouette of this mustard leather biker. Pair it with the v-neck culotte jumpsuit and a pair of leather high heeled sandals and you've got yourself a killer look.

I fell deeply in love with the leather jacket the minute it arrived through my door. It's safe to say the over sized boyfriend cut, asymmetric panelling and raglan sleeves pulled at my heart strings-I haven't taken this piece off since!

CHLOE AND AQUAZZURA DUPES

Which do you prefer? It's a tough question, especially if we are talking the real deal. When forking out hundreds of pounds on a single pair of shoes we have to make the correct desicion (Sadly for me I'm not in a situtation to be buying both!) But, luckily for us the high street has come to our rescue which means we no longer have to put ourselves through deciding on just one pair to take home, we can go all out! Expensive dilemma avoided.

I have to say I wasn't keen on the Aquazzura lace up pumps at first. They reminded me of an old school shoe I was more than ready to forget, which is why I purchased the Topshop lace up wedges. (A little height and less class room chic is exactly what I was after!)

In terms of practicality we all need a go-to pump. So what's your verdict?

LACE UP MOTEL DRESS

Don't you just love finding that one piece of clothing you can't wait to wear the minute you place an order? This was definitely the case with this lace up dress (also comes in white, here.) What I love about wearing dresses is that they also double up as a top when tucked into a skirt or shorts-because I'm all about cost per wear..

Wearing: Motel Dress*(White Version), H&M Skirt, Topshop Wedges(Black Version), Celine Bag and Celine Sunglasses

If you follow me on Instagram then you'll know the love I have for these lace up wedges. I'm all about wearing catwalk looks at an affordable high street price so I've sourced some similar Chloe alternatives below like this pair from Choies.

If you can't tell I cannot get enough of the 70's vibes at the moment. I do love a trend but we don't have to keep buying piece after piece. My advise would be to buy one staple and to dress it with your basics. Like my lace up dress; we can wear this as a top, pair it with a leather jacket, pop on a pair of black tights and a lace up pump. The options are endless!
