I have just returned from the most inspirational five days in Dallas, Texas with Reward Style. (You can read about the trip here.) Amongst the beautiful weather as shown in these images we did also experience; A tornado warning whilst at the River Island Cocktail party (Under a metal structure) and numerous sudden downpours. Nether-the-less, when the sun was shining it was incredibly warm.
You all went crazy for this outfit over on my Instagram! It's funny because the less amount of thought I put into my outfits tend to become the most liked (on my part,) and the most loved from you on social media?
The skirt was a last minute buy for Dallas, as was the pairing with the double print in the striped shirt and snakeskin mules. Sadly these items were bought in store so I've added some alternative items and price points for you below.
Above I have put together my top five wedding guest ensembles. I don't know about you but I find the searching for wedding guest attire is never ending? We've got to take into consideration the colour, the length not to mention the practicality. (Any kind of grass involves a wedge over a stiletto heel.)
Luckily enough for you I've done all the hard work for you! I've popped in a range of different necklines, hems a co-ord or two and even a couple of accessories to finish off the look. Now all that's left if to try not to up stage the bride!
Thank me later.

The H&M studio mules are back again, sorry! We all have those pieces that we have to re-wear on a daily frequent basis. Usually for me it's the newest pieces I buy that I tend to want to wear all the time! The matching snakeskin bag was a steal in the sale, 7 to be exact-winner! Don't you just love print on print?
I've paired the reptile prints down with tan suede and blue skinny jeans as I thought black would be a little too harsh for such a lovely day of weather. I know what you're thinking, is she okay?
I'm currently writing this mid-pack for Dallas, Texas tomorrow. I'm going to be sharing all the invite only action over on my Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat@HannahCrosskey so make sure you're all following me for up to date action and obviously what I'm wearing!

Utility, Cargo, Khaki.. you name it, we're lusting over it! Take theChloe sandals for example that are seen absolutely everywhere from catwalk to model, to celebrity. Of course it's typical that when we see a high street equivalent we go crazy for it. I bow down to Topshop for producing these incredible lace up wedges available in tan and black (Currently on their way to me now!)
I know what you're thinking. (She's wearing a slight bit of colour.. has she had too much sun!?) What can I say? I guess the sun brings out the mustard in me! All jokes aside, you won't believe where this suede jacket is from, in a good way of course. I love styling pieces that look insanely expensive only to be told they're a high street bargain. Want to know where this little slice of heaven is from? Keep reading..
I can safely say with the warmer climates fast approaching I'll be hanging up my Topshop leather jacket and replacing it with this piece of suede. If this look is a tad too adventurous (their are also other colours here!) try ditching the denim midi skirt and keep it casual in a pair of wide leg trousers or a wrap skirt and gladiator combo.
Wearing multiple garments in the same colour is so easy to pull off, it's all down to the silhouette, texture and tone. Mixing your fabrics is key especially as we don't want to look like a solid block of colour! Mix denim with knitwear or suede with leather, or simply just opt for different shades of the same colour
I picked up this suede leather jacket from Warehouse during fashion week back in February but didn't get a chance to wear it until now. Isn't it amazing? It's such a nice alternative to a leather jacket, especially now we're edging into Summer. I try to ditch all my darker tones and swap in some neutrals to brighten up my look come this time of the year.
Travel supermarket are challenging 10 selected blogger's to pack for a fashionable city break to a hand picked destination for the weekend, taking hand luggage only. The winner bagging thsemelves a weekend away to their given destination! Sound easy? You'd be totally wrong. (I am the worst for over-packing!) The destination I was given was New York City-the dream! Packed into a capsule wardrobe I have put together; two travelling outfits, two day ensembles to take in the sites and three evening looks in preparation for a couple of cocktails. (Considering the weather, the destination and functionality of course!) The key to a capsule wardrobe is packing your basics; leather jacket, a jersey top, a pair of jeans, a LBD and a strappy heel, which you then mix and match with your on trend pieces.
All item's featured in my NYC capsule wardrobe are shopable below;
(stylish yet functional for flying)
Making the most of the pieces you've packed is crucial to a capsule wardrobe, especially when it comes to packing. I've used the tan weaved boho bag for both outfits as we need room for our flight essentials, plus it's big enough to fit in an over-sized cashmere blanket cape which will not only work to keep you warm but also as a scarf which will double up as a blanket during the night flight. The use of a basic jersey tee is vital when it comes to packing our on trend pieces, this allows us to re-wear practically everything which will put a totally different spin on each look time and time again.
(code for shopping!)
Functionality is number one when it comes to a full day of site-seeing in an un-known country, being practical and comfortable with regards to footwear should be your main priority when it comes down to packing. These nude pointed pumps will relieve you of any painful blisters and allows us to partake in a full day of shopping-score! An item you'll see time and time again in a capsule wardrobe has to be a pair of jeans, whether they're black skinnies, or a ripped pair of acid wash boyfriends you'll be able to mix and match them with everything. Since we're in the big apple a pair of on trend flared jeans are absolutely necessary in the fashion capital.
(make mine a cosmo..)
Dressing up for a fancy dinner or a cocktail in a bar with your girlfriends? Now, this is when it becomes tricky. As we've only got room in our hand luggage for a few items it's essential to get the most wear out of what we've packed whilst looking chic at the same time. With this in mind I've chosen a LBD (little black dress.) Wear alone with a statement heel and trusty leather jacket for one evening and on top of a pair of neutral cigarette trousers teamed with a classic strappy sandal. I'm all about statement accessories, but in order to make the most of you're on trend items you'll want to stick to a classic heel or leather clutch - they're timeless.
